The 2014 QDBF State Championships saw the majority of Qld clubs either participating or volunteering, for which QDBF thanks you for your club’s constant support.

Publication of the results has been delayed by the short turnaround between our States and the AusChamps and I appreciate everyone’s patience.
The results should now be found on the QDBF website.

Thank you to all clubs for outstanding cooperation, particularly Sunday when we were able to run well ahead of schedule, finishing at least one hour ahead!

As a group we need to discuss ways to improve this, especially given this was standard boat racing only (Sunday saw both standard and small boat racing). Does the format need to be changed? If so how? Mixed in the morning and open/women’s that afternoon like AusChamps?

Lots to think about and to discuss at the next Presidents Meeting on Saturday, 14 June 2014.
